Lord of the Rings Movies!

With all three Lord of the Rings movies finally out, it's time to look back at this terrific triology.

The young Hobbit Frodo Baggins (played by Elijah Wood) has inherited an ancient ring from his elderly cousin Bilbo Baggins. In the Fellowship of the Ring Frodo and his friends set out on an epic quest to prevent this magic ring from falling into the hands of the evil Sauron.

After The Fellowship of the Ring, fans were eagerly awaiting the next episode of the Lord of the Rings, The Two Towers. They were not disappointed. And the last episode The Return of the King was even better.

Directed by Peter Jackson, the Lord of the Rings trilogy has been filmed in one go near Wellington in New Zealand.
